Your Distributor Profile components:

Solutions: promotional advertisements and links to your online services, apps and other solutions

Insights: sales and service opportunities

Resources: links to your websites, applications, digital tools and business processes

Contacts: listing of your contacts that provides sales, service and support for Agents

To access you profile page, all your Agents have to do is click on your firm's logo on the left nav.


Online Resources for Your Agents
It is important to make all of your online resources as easily accessible as possible. Utilizing multiple online channels and solutions to promote, and enable access to your services and information will help maximize adoption and usage.
NIC provides another way for your Agents to easily access all of your online services, information and content.
ONLINE ADVERTISEMENTS FOR YOUR AGENTS (NIC AGENT APP)
Your Distributor Profile provides you with multiple rotating advertising banner opportunities.
This section of the Agent App is exclusive to your firm.
You manage all Banner Advertisements through the NIC Distributor App.

ONLINE SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR AGENTS (NIC AGENT APP)
The Solutions section enables you to promote up to 9 services including your custom images, website links and content.

You manage all Solutions content though the NIC Distributor App.

ONLINE RESOURCES FOR YOUR AGENTS (NIC AGENT APP)
The Resources section enables you to build out your own structure and add links to all of your own apps, tools and services.

You manage all Resources content though the NIC Distributor App.
​

CONTACTS FOR YOUR AGENTS (NIC AGENT APP)
The Contacts section enables you to add your sales, services, support and other contacts. Each contact block enables you to add a brief description about the type of service the contact is providing and their contact information.

You manage all your Contacts content though the NIC Distributor App.
​

UPLOADING & MANAGING ONLINE CONTENT
Online content is created and managed through the NIC Distributor App, Content module.
​
To access the Content module, from the left nav, click on the Content link.
The four editable sections can be all be managed through the Content page.
​
To upload or manage your content, click on any of the four sections under the Sections heading or click on the links under Content in the left nav.


BANNERS (ONLINE ADVERTISEMENTS)
UPLOADING NEW BANNERS

Click on the Content link on the left nav
-
From the Content section, click on Banners or click on Banner link on the left nav under Content

From the Banners Library page, click on the + icon, located on the top right corner of the page
​

From the New Banner pop up:
-
upload the Banner Image by clicking on the camera icon: format .jpg or .png, max size 2560px x 640px

enter Banner Name: max 85 characters long
-
enter Banner Link or URL: when the user clicks on banner they will be taken to this link
-

Select if you would like to have the banner displayed on Home page.
-
Click Publish

Once you click Update, your banners are automatically published on the NIC Agent App, where your Agents can view it.
​
​
NOTE:
-
There is one banner maximum that is displayed on the Agent App home page
​



MANAGING EXISTING BANNERS
You also have the option to manage already uploaded and published banners. ​

From the Banners Library page, click on Edit link under the Action header
-
From the Banner pop up window you have the option to:
-
Change the banner by clicking on the blue camera icon ​
-
Change the Banner Name
-
Change the Banner URL
-
Have it displayed on home page or remove it from home page
-
Unpublish so it doesn't appear on the Agent App
-
Archive the banner​
-
-
After you are done with your changes, click Update
​

Once you click Update, your banners are automatically published on the NIC Agent App, where your Agents can view it.
​

SOLUTIONS COMPONENTS
UPLOADING NEW SOLUTIONS CONTENT

Click on the Content link on the left nav
-
From the Content section, click on Solutions

From the Solutions Library page, click on the + icon, located on the top right corner of the page

From the New Solution pop up:
-
upload the Solution Image by clicking on the blue Upload button: format .jpg or .png, max size 200px x 200px

enter Title: max 40 characters long
-
enter Description: max 150 characters long
-
enter Link or URL: when the user clicks on banner they will be taken to this link
-

Click Publish

Once you click Publish, your Solutions tiles are automatically published on the NIC Agent App, where your Agents can view it.

NOTE:
-
There is maximum of 9 Solution tiles that can be displayed on the tab.
-
The order of display is the first Solution tile created will appear as the last tile on the page.
​



MANAGING EXISTING SOLUTIONS CONTENT
You also have the option to manage already uploaded and published Solutions content. ​

From the Solutions Library page, click on blue Edit link located on the Solution tile.
-
From the Solution pop up window you have the option to:
-
Change the image by clicking on the blue Upload button
-
Change the Title
-
Change the Description
-
Change the URL
-
Have it displayed on home page or remove it from home page

Archive the Solution tile​

After you are done with your changes, click Update

Once you click Update, your Solution tile is automatically published on the NIC Agent App, where your Agents can view it.

Once a Solution tile is archived, it cannot be published again.

RESOURCES COMPONENTS
UPLOADING NEW RESOURCES CONTENT

Click on the Content link on the left nav

From the Content section, click on Resources and then click on the Advisor Profile image.

From the Resources Library page, click on the + icon, located on the top right corner of the page

From the Resources Settings pop up:

enter the Section Headline: max 60 characters long

enter the Resource Name: max 256 characters long

enter URL/Links to the resource location
-
-
Click Publish

To add more Resources, click on the blue + icon.
If you have made a mistake and wish to delete the Resource, click on the red x icon.
​
Once you click Publish, your Resources are automatically published on the NIC Agent App, where your Agents can view it.
​

NOTE:
-
There is no limit on the amount of Resources you can upload.
​



MANAGING EXISTING RESOURCES CONTENT

From the Resources Settings pop up window you have the option to:

Change the Section Headline
